The 360° rotating clamshell rail clamp bucket is a multifunctional integrated hydraulic attachment specially developed for the maintenance and repair of conventional railways, high-speed railways, intercity rails and industrial special lines. The whole equipment is manufactured by integral welding and forging process of high wear-resistant high manganese steel

The shell adopts a closed reinforced shell structure, featuring high impact resistance, torsion resistance and wear resistance, which can adapt to harsh working conditions such as ballast friction, hard object impact and heavy-load clamping for a long time. The key stress-bearing parts are reinforced with thickened steel plates and integral rib plates, which effectively avoid deformation, cracking and fatigue damage caused by long-term high-frequency operation, and the structural strength of the whole machine fully meets the railway heavy-load construction standards. The core rotation unit is equipped with a high-torque low-speed hydraulic motor, supporting 360° bidirectional dead-angle-free continuous rotation. The rotation is stable, positioning is accurate without jitter or offset. During construction, there is no need to move the excavator body, so the clamping angle and operation direction can be adjusted freely. It is suitable for narrow space between rails, complex turnout areas, bridge limit positions, narrow working faces inside tunnels and other working conditions that traditional equipment is difficult to operate, greatly eliminating construction blind areas.

There is no need to replace attachments when switching functions, which greatly improves the efficiency of skylight operation. Under the rail clamping condition, the inner side of the clamping arm is designed with radian fitting the standard rail profile of national standard rails, and is equipped with high-hardness alloy anti-slip teeth. The large contact area and uniform stress can stably clamp mainstream rail profiles such as 43kg/m, 50kg/m and 60kg/m rails. It can efficiently complete standardized operations including removal of old rails, laying of new rails, fine adjustment of rail alignment, displacement of rail panels, disassembly and assembly of turnouts, etc. During clamping, the bite is stable without slipping or damaging the rail body, which effectively protects the rail structure and anti-corrosion paint, meeting the specifications of refined railway construction.

It can quickly complete conventional maintenance operations such as cleaning of ballast bed ballast, excavation of excess ballast, backfilling of vacant areas, shaping of ballast bed, and dredging of ballast under rails. It replaces the inefficient manual ballast cleaning and extensive operation with ordinary digging buckets, effectively improving the compactness of the ballast bed and the accuracy of track geometric dimensions, and ensuring the smoothness of the line meets the standard. Relying on the excavator hydraulic control system, the equipment realizes stepless speed regulation for opening/closing and rotation movements, with sensitive and delicate operation, meeting both heavy-load operation and fine adjustment requirements.

Daily Maintenance and Upkeep

To ensure long-term stable operation, extend the service life of the equipment and reduce the failure downtime, a standardized maintenance process shall be implemented. After daily operation, the ballast, sediment and impurities inside the clamp body shall be cleaned in a timely manner to avoid long-term wear of the occlusal surface and rotating sealing structure by hard particles. Check the wear of each pin shaft and bushing daily, and regularly add lubricating grease to ensure smooth opening/closing and rotation movements without stagnation.

 

Regularly inspect the welds and stress rib plates of the whole machine for cracking or deformation, and fasten all connecting bolts to prevent loosening and falling off caused by long-term vibration. Check the hydraulic oil pipes, joints and sealing status of the rotating motor to eliminate oil leakage, pressure relief and other problems, and ensure stable hydraulic power output. During operation, it is strictly forbidden to forcibly clamp with overload and violently collide with hard rails and roadbed stones to avoid structural damage. When idle for a long time, clean the equipment completely, apply oil for rust prevention, and place it on a flat and dry site, which can effectively extend the service life of the whole machine and guarantee the equipment to be put into railway maintenance operation efficiently and stably for a long time.
