TN-DS250RT Rail Cutter Product Introduction
The TN-DS250RT rail cutter is a hydraulic special attachment mounted on excavators, specially developed for railway track dismantling, old track renovation and waste rail recycling.
It is widely applied in demolition and renewal projects of national railway branch lines, factory industrial sidings and urban rail transit, serving as core high-efficiency equipment for standardized disposal of railway waste materials.
Designed to match medium excavators weighing 22 to 30 tons, the cutter draws stable power from the host’s hydraulic system, requiring no extra power unit.
It features flexible transportation and wide adaptability, perfectly fitting railway maintenance window operations and scattered field construction. In terms of cutting applicability, the machine is engineered for standard rails with a rail head width of 70mm or below. It is not suitable for heavy-duty rails with a rail head width exceeding 70mm, as such rails exceed the equipment’s structural load and cutting capacity.
The wear rate and service life of the cutter are directly determined by the hardness, abrasion condition and quenching process of the rails processed.
High-hardness and aged hardened rails will accelerate the consumption of cutting consumables and transmission parts. Operators shall adjust working pace reasonably according to rail materials to ensure stable equipment performance.
The whole housing is integrally forged from high-strength special steel, delivering outstanding structural rigidity, compression and impact resistance.
It effectively withstands splashing high-temperature iron scraps, mechanical vibration and gravel collisions during cutting, resisting deformation and cracking under harsh outdoor construction conditions, and greatly boosting structural stability and durability.
Equipped with a 360° full-range rotating mechanism, the cutter allows flexible adjustment of cutting angles and working positions without frequent relocation of the excavator.
It adapts to narrow working spaces including straight tracks, curved tracks and complex turnout sections with no blind operation zones. Compact, easy to operate and low in maintenance cost, the equipment replaces traditional manual cutting tools and drastically improves the mechanization and standardization efficiency of railway dismantling and waste treatment.
