Rail excavator conversion and sleeper replacement factory
The field of excavator-to-rail replacement machines has blossomed with diverse innovations, resulting in a wide array of modified versions on the market based on different technological approaches and demand orientations. Among these, the two most common categories are replacement machines based on ordinary excavators and replacement machines derived from rail excavators specifically designed for rail operations. After their remarkable transformations, these two types not only have their own strengths and weaknesses in performance but also draw a subtle line in terms of operator experience and skill requirements.
Excavator conversion and head-changing machine
The sleeper-changing machine, converted from a regular excavator, is like a crossover warrior. Though of humble origin, it has taken on a new mission in railway maintenance through meticulous technical modifications. This type of machine operates more like a traditional excavator, making it relatively easy for operators to learn. However, mastering the precision required for railway operations necessitates a period of adaptation and learning. Like a seasoned veteran, it may not be overly concerned with details, but on the unique battlefield of the railway, its skills still require careful refinement.

Precise and efficient railway operations
The railway excavator machine, converted from a rail excavator, is specifically designed for railways, its genes flowing with precision and efficiency. From the outset, this type of machine was designed with the unique needs of railway operations in mind, allowing operators to experience a smoother workflow and more precise positioning. Like a guardian of the railway, it ensures the safety and smooth operation of the railway with every precise operation.

Standard excavator modification and special excavator modification
Regarding the specific differences between these two modified sleeper-changing machines in terms of operator experience, these include, but are not limited to, differences in the user interface, work efficiency, and the different skill requirements for the operators. If you are curious about these details, feel free to leave a comment and let's unveil the mysteries of railway maintenance together.

Differences Introduction
First, let's discuss the differences between the Sany 75 excavator (standard excavator) and the SDLGE675HT excavator (specialized excavator).
1. The Sany 75 excavator uses an Isuzu engine with a power output of 55kW, while the SDLGE675HT uses a Yanmar engine with a power output of 53.7kW.
2. Track gauge: The Sany 75's factory-installed track gauge is 1750mm, which requires a narrower chassis to accommodate China's standard 1435mm track gauge. The SDLGE675HT, however, has a factory-installed track gauge of 1610mm, which is ideal for China's 1435mm track gauge. (Of course, we can customize the product to suit the customer's local track gauge.)
3. The SDLGE675HT is more stable when working on railways due to its 450kg weight increase.
4. The SDLGE675HT excavator comes standard with a one-button switch in the cab, switching between the freewheel and drive wheels, and it comes with two control systems. The Sany 75 requires these devices to be added during aftermarket modifications. Furthermore, the positions of the freewheel and drive wheel are also different.
Product customization for different countries
Track gauge varies by country. According to customer feedback, Russia uses 1520mm gauge, Indonesia 1067mm, and Thailand 1000mm. Some Western countries use 1435mm or 1000mm gauge. Customization is available based on your country's track gauge. If you have an excavator, we can sell you structural components and provide video guidance during installation. If you don't have an excavator or have upcoming railway projects, you can purchase one from China and transport it to our factory for modification and upgrades.
